We are excited to have the Ben Rice Band preforming at Spring Classic.

While their sound is unique and appeals to all kinds of music lovers, their stage presence and energy is what will bring you to your feet. Ben himself says the band’s music is the kitchen sink of Blues mixed with his band mate’s influences of Punk, Hip-Hop, and Classic Rock.
The post-race party starts at 10:45am.
About the Event
* TRI NorthWest Ranked Event – Duathlon
The Spring Classic Duathlon is a great opportunity for triathletes to shake off the winter-season rust and for the duathletes to get in an early season race. The event is contested almost entirely on Marine Dr which is closed to vehicle traffic, a rarity in the sport. (Note! The exception is the 13 residences, some of which are 2nd homes, and use 138th Ave to come and go – but most athletes rarely see a vehicle).
There are no railroad tracks on the bike route – just 15 miles of smooth pavement ideally suited for fast times. The course is virtually flat with the only appreciative elevation gain or loss occurring as you travel beneath the Glenn Jackson Bridge. And for the novice athlete, the sense of safety by not having to be overly concerned with vehicle traffic makes this event ideal for your introduction to the world of multi-sport racing.
