Don’t Miss One of Portland’s Largest Triathlon Weekends!

The last weekend in July in the Northwest means great weather, warm water temperatures and great mid-summer racing action. This year’s Wahine All Women’s Triathlon & Duathlon will be held on Saturday, July 28 at Blue Lake Park in Fairview, OR. The following day, the venue will host the (coed) Amica Mid-Summer Triathlon & Duathlon.

Both days will offer a sports and fitness expo, live music, brunch, prizes, and a Kid’s Splash, Pedal-n-Dash on Saturday with the All Women’s event – one of Portland’s only youth triathlons.

The Wahine All Women’s Triathlon & Duathlon is Hawaiian themed this year. The event features Reggae music, live drummers & Polynesian show, and Hawaiian food and drinks!

If you want the real Hawaiian experience, you are in luck. Both events this weekend are eligible for the Muscle Milk® Race to Kona! Win a trip for two to Kona, Hawaii to watch the Ironman® World Championship. Entry into the Muscle Milk Race to Kona contest is based solely on a participant’s entry into any AA Sports Multi-Sport race. Each entry gives the athlete one chance to win. Entering multiple races provides the athlete with the corresponding number of chances. No additional purchases are required and your performance in any race does not factor into increasing your chances of winning.
